Zoe and Maia: BFFs or WWF?

It seems to teeter back and forth but mostly they get along like wildfire and that’s a good thing because their mommies wouldn’t survive without being able to call each other up any day of the week for lunch or walks or whatever….

Zoe hung out with us this week for her first solo play date while her mom Annie ran to an appointment. She was a very good sport and only got upset when she tripped over the padded ottoman once…luckily, the talking cube toy cheered her up quickly.

Zoe likes to say “HI” and her favorite place to be is on a friendly knee

They took turns crawling through the tunnel

Then they had some baby goldfish crackers…

Then they had some MORE goldfish crackers…

Zoe did a puzzle while practicing downward dog (she can ALMOST stand right up)

while Maia cheated death one more time (see Maia is on the Move in a related post)

She rubbed her friend’s head a few times for good luck (no hair pulling this time!)

Zoe countered with a friendly hoodie grab

Then they both jostled in for a round of competitive knee clinging (this round when to Zoe)

before wandering off to practice their button bashing skillz (they seem to be tied in this category). Overall, it was a friendly match and they are both good sports who seem to benefit from a little healthy competition here and there…at least they both slept really well that night!!
